Jin Jiang International Hotels Officially Announces New Appointments

Shanghai, 10 October, 2013

Jin Jiang International Hotels officially announces the appointments of three new senior level associates who have all effectively commenced their positions at the management company’s corporate headquarters in Shanghai.

In line with Jin Jiang International Hotel’s aim of strengthening its sales and marketing platform, they welcome two new additions, Ms. Stella Xu, Deputy Director Sales and Marketing and the most recently appointed Ms. Cindy Yin, also titled Deputy Director Sales and Marketing. Ms. Xu will be in charge of growing ‘J-Club’, Jin Jiang’s 12 million membership loyalty program and Ms. Yin will be focusing on driving global sales and directly supporting the Director of International Marketing and Sales, Mr. Fabian Seet. Along with the company’s goal of building strong operational strategies within the hotels and to enhance their service standards and owner relationships, Mr. Barry Sun, Deputy Director Operations, has been appointed to closely assist Mr. James Kim, VP Operations at Jin Jiang International Hotels.

Ms. Stella Xu, Deputy Director Marketing and Sales, Jin Jiang International Hotels .

Stella joins Jin Jiang International Hotels with over 20 years of varied and rich hotel management experience and will be responsible for growing Jin Jiang’s loyalty program, J-Club and key accounts relationship management. She first began her hospitality career in 1989 with Jin Jiang and has since grown and built her career with the company. She has since demonstrated a wide experience scope having begun working at the flagship Jin Jiang Hotel starting in its accounting department and moving to become the manager of Grosvenor House at the hotel, where she managed its F&B,sales functions and front office. Prior to her recently appointed corporate role, she was the Executive Assistant Manager of Jin Jiang’s JianGuo HOTEL IN SHANGHAI and was in charge of all the sales and marketing functions, in addition to managing the room division department. Stella graduated from Li Xing Accounting University in Shanghai, and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Shanghai University. 
 
Ms. Cindy Yin, Deputy Director Marketing and Sales, Jin Jiang International Hotels .

Cindy has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience and has been a loyal employee of Jin Jiang since 2002, where her career has since developed and flourished. She will be responsible for driving corporate global sales at Jin Jiang International Hotels. Originally from Nanjing, she started her hospitality sales and marketing career in 1990 atthe Jinling Hotel Corporation, starting in their international travel division, she went onto working in its sales and marketing department. Cindy started her career with Jin Jiang in 2002 as the Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager at the Jin Jiang Tower HOTEL IN Shanghai, and in 2007, she rose to become its most recent Director of Sales and Marketing. Earlier on in the year, Cindy was identified and selected as one of Jin Jiang’s promising leaders to attend its talent development summer school program in the US and spend a few months studyingat the prestigious Cornell University and to work and gain valuable experience with the Group’s sister hotels in USA. Cindy graduated from Nanjing University with a degree in English. 
 
Mr. Barry Sun, Deputy Director of Operations, Jin Jiang International Hotels .

Barry has over 20 years of varied and rich hotel management experience, and is a long standing, dedicated employee at Jin Jiang.He will be working closely with the VP of Operations on executing Jin Jiang’s operational strategies within the hotels and to work on implementing the management company’s various initiatives. Prior to his recent appointed role at the corporate office, he was the Deputy General Manager of Wuhan Jin Jiang International Hotel. He started his career in hospitality in 1990at the Nikko Longbai HOTEL IN SHANGHAI, and up until 2003, he has worked at a number of reputable international hotel brands such as the Shangri-La and Marriott Hotels. Barry was also identified and selected as a promising leader to attend Jin Jiang’s talent development summer school program at Cornell University in the US.
